INSHORE TRAIL SPONSORSHIPS
Fisherman’s Post is looking to work with area sponsors to help make the sixth year of its Inshore Trail another huge success. The Inshore Trail, hosting events from Topsail to Ocean Isle, has quickly become the area’s premiere saltwater fishing tournament series, and proceeds from the events will be donated to non-profits in each tournament’s area.
The Inshore Trail is a series of five events—Ocean Isle, Southport, Wrightsville Beach, Topsail, and Carolina Beach—so sponsoring the Inshore Trail can provide your company with great exposure along the entire southeastern NC coast.
Each event will host both flounder and red drum competitions, playing on the popularity of these species and the recent trend towards smaller boats and inshore fishing. And since the Inshore Trail is a product of Fisherman’s Post Newspaper, the events and their sponsors are guaranteed high visibility in front of this large saltwater fishing community of southeastern North Carolina.
In addition to being strongly marketed, our events are very popular, as we put great emphasis on providing our participants with a weekend of events (captains’ parties, awards parties & dinners, etc.). We also emphasize a family-friendly atmosphere (by encouraging junior, lady, and senior angler participation) and conservation (by bonus payouts for live weigh-in, releasing live fish, and donating live fish to aquaculture study).

In addition to the different sponsorship levels to choose from, there are several other ways to get involved: donate prizes for the raffle; donate items for the captains’ bags; donate prizes for leaderboard payouts; sponsor one of the tournament’s special awards (ex. Lady, Junior, and Senior Angler); create your own special award; or call or email us to discuss other possibilities.
PLATINUM SPONSOR $3500
Includes all of the benefits of Gold Sponsorship plus numerous upgrades, such as full page color ads on high visibility positions in tournament booklets; logo on cover of tournament booklets; prominent logo placement on tournament t-shirts; top and side web banner ads on tournament websites; logo on Boat Number signs; logo printed regularly in Fisherman’s Post Newspaper with trail standings; and eight invitations to all five tournament events.
GOLD SPONSOR $2000
Includes half page color ad (or full page black and white) in all five tournament booklets; logo on all five tournament t-shirts; side web banner ad on all five tournament websites; display and banner space at all five tournament headquarters; logo on all five leaderboards; logo on all tournament posters; logo on all five tournament ads; recognition at all five captains’ meetings and awards ceremonies; and four invitations to all five tournament events.
SILVER SPONSOR $1000
