Already well-known for their technologically-advanced, heavy-duty yet lightweight big-game reels, Accurate has turned their attention to the inshore market and packed 25 years of experience into their newest offering, the Boss Valiant 300.

An average person’s palm dwarfs this diminutive, 9.9 oz. reel, yet the company’s patented and famous TwinDrag system allows it to produce 25 lbs. of smooth drag. Those stats mean anglers can pursue virtually anything inshore along with plenty of near and offshore targets with tackle that would fit right in on a bass boat. Holding up to 350 yards of 30 lb. braided line, sailfish, dolphin, amberjacks, and more are all easily within the reel’s capabilities.

A recessed, ergonomic thumb plate and an Easy Find Strike Stop Cam ensure that anglers are able to easily manipulate drag settings during a fight, and there are no buttons to fumble with if they find the need to crank the drag to full.

With a 6061 aluminum frame and spool, as well as gears and shafts made of high grade stainless steel, these little reels aren’t afraid of salt or spray, either. Each features 9 ball bearings, with a pair of sealed antireverse bearings for incredibly smooth operation even at high drag settings. A newly designed handle-arm and grip combine with the reel’s robust internals to offer torque and cranking power previously unheard of in a package this small and light.

The Accurate Boss Valiant 300 retails for $399, and anglers can check them out at local Accurate dealers or visit www.accuratefishing.com to learn more.
