Reactor Watches

Built for the active lifestyle, the Reactor watch line (available at Perry’s Emporium in Wilmington) is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts who want a fashionable, great looking watch that performs. Each model in the Reactor line is forged from solid marine grade 316L stainless steel or titanium for the ultimate in strength. Typically the most vulnerable part of a watch is the connection between watch band and case, but Reactor’s solid threaded screw bars are rated at an incredible 600 lbs. of pressure (on average) providing at least 500% higher strength than most competing watches.

The Reactor screw-down crown system promotes the highest level of water resistance integrity, and the three-gasket structure stays water tight even if left unscrewed. And Reactor doesn’t just say the watch is tough—they stand behind all of their watches with an unconditional two-year guarantee. You can shop Perry’s Emporium online at www.perrysemporium.com, but this brick-and-mortar fine jewelry store has built their reputation on outstanding customer service, so an in-person visit to check out and try on the Reactor line (starting at $300) is recommended.

Costa Mag Bay and Tuna Alley

The Costa Mag Bay sunglass line is named in homage to the mangrove-lined, estuary Magdalena Bay in Baja, California, that has some of the best sport fishing anywhere. The Mag Bays are large-fit and ready for larger-than-life adventures.

Costa’s Tuna Alleys are named after the legendary 15-mile stretch of sand cutting through the deep blue Bahamian waters. With integral hinges, a patented vent system, and made from tough-as-nails nylon, these performance fishing sunglasses won’t be missing much.

Both 580P (plastic) and 580G (glass) lenses are offered in the Mag Bay and Tuna Alley frames, each offering blue and yellow light blockage to enhance color while offering wearers incredible clarity as well. The glass lenses offer the greatest clarity and scratch resistance, and the plastic lenses are lighter in weight and more impact resistant.

Check out Costa’s Mag Bays and Tuna Alleys ($189-$249) at a local dealer, or visit www.costadelmar.com for more information.

Cinnetic Cinergy Small Tracker Reel

Designed for the demanding angler with an affinity for light tackle fishing, the Cinergy Small Tracker fits many of the features found in much larger reels into its small, light frame. Drag can be everything, and Cinnetic’s high resistance drag washers dissipate the heat produced during fish combat, keeping an adequate friction coefficient that even works under high temperatures.

In other words, the drag is smooth and won’t fail even in high pressure situations. The body and sides of the reel are made of aluminum, with housing-sealed engineering which prevents salt crystals from getting inside. And the new ultra-ventilated rotor is lighter and increases the smoothness, resistance, and balance of the entire reel system. The Small Tracker also boasts a stainless steel bearing system, three of which are sealed, and a 100% stainless steel main shaft.  The Cinergy Small Tracker, offered in 2500, 3500, and 4000 sizes, can be shopped at www.cinnetic-us.com.
