The Whip-It Eel heads feature lifelike eyes, a special sculpted shape that gives the lures their unique action, and Mustad Ultra Point Hooks for sure sets on hard-to-hook predators like tarpon and cobia.
Available in 4, 6, 8, and 10” models with head weights ranging from 1/8 to 4 oz., there’s a Whip-It Eel for every angling situation ranging from finicky speckled trout to cobia, amberjacks, and other sea-going brutes. Responding to the recent popularity of casting and jigging for tuna, Al Gag has also released the 10” Tuna Strong Whip-It Eel, a 10” Whip-It with a 2 oz. head and an 8/0 Mustad 7731 big game hook that won’t straighten or break when fighting big tunas (or other offshore brawlers) with braided line and heavy drag settings.
Anglers purchasing Whip-It Eels can have their choice of 11 tail color options ranging from yellow/pearl to solid black.
A weedless version is also in the works, featuring an Owner Beast hook and a soft head that incorporates the sculpted shape of the other Whip-Its.
