Available in four sizes appropriate for anything from drink boxes to keeping large offshore catches cool and fresh, Coleman’s new Esky Coolers incorporate a host of innovative features to offer anglers unmatched durability, ice-retention, and value in the high-end “supercooler” market.
With 2” of insulation around the cooler sides and 2.5” in the lid, as well as an airtight gasket along with several other unique cold-retaining features, the Esky series will compete with any box out there when it comes to keeping ice, even in the hottest weather.
A pair of catch-free latches and an integrated hinge with stainless steel pins mean anglers can forget the headache of replacing plastic cooler parts every season or two, and the coolers are knee and shin friendly, too.
Tie-down points that leave the lid free to open and close (along with a lock slot on the lid) allow users to secure both the cooler and its contents from thieves in their truck beds or boats.
Both the Esky coolers’ liners and recessed cutting boards in the lids (the boxes are far too nice to be cutting bait on) have an anti-microbial additive that resists odors, mold, and mildew to keep them looking and smelling fresh. And a scratch and UV-resistant exoskeleton protects the outsides of the coolers from fading and scrapes.
A dry storage basket included with each Esky allows anglers to keep sandwiches and other moisture-sensitive items up out of melt water.
Coleman even put a unique spin on the coolers’ drain plugs—they feature a double cap that allows anglers to attach a standard hose or open the large 2” gate mouth to get liquids out in a hurry.
Rope handles with durable soft-touch grips ensure anglers can comfortably and securely carry the coolers no matter what’s inside them.
