Ideal for truck or boat, First Mate Outdoors’ RodRack 28 and RodRack 48 are fully adjustable rod racks that allow anglers much more versatility than standard models with fixed rod tubes.
Each rod holder along the racks’ anodized aluminum mounting bars is individually adjustable to any angle, meaning anglers can have them all straight up or lean individual rod holders in-and-out to any angle to facilitate trolling or make room for larger outfits that won’t quite fit side-by-side.
The versatile mounting system features a pair of collars that are permanently attached to a truck tool box, bumper or bed, boat gunnel, seat, or cooler, or a garage or interior wall. Once the collars are installed, the rack can be removed and reattached by simply loosening or tightening two screws. This convenience feature also means that one rack system can be moved from one location to any other that has a pair of the mount collars.
Two screws are also all that’s required to adjust the cant of the rod holders individually, and both sets of screws use the same included tool.
The 28 system features three rod holders and the 48 six, but the adjustable and modular nature of the product means anglers can add extra rod holders to any location on the mounting bar to enhance their systems.
Their extreme adjustability means First Mate RodRacks can be mounted vertically or horizontally on flat or angled surfaces.
All First Mate’s RodRacks are built of corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum (available in bright or black), and the rod holders themselves feature ReelMate tops made of a synthetic rubber polymer that protects and minimizes movement of the rods within.
