Matthew “Bambam” Huff, of Raleigh, with a 42.14 lb. gag grouper (3 lbs. off the state record) that attacked a 200g knife jig in 280′ of water offshore of Frying Pan Tower while he was fishing aboard the “Bubbles” out of Southport.
