Designed to work in conjunction with the company’s EPIRBs, personal locating beacons, and other safety and rescue equipment, ACR’s RapidDitch Express ditch bag will keep an angler’s essential safety gear together and organized in the event a boat must be abandoned in a hurry.
The rugged bag features pockets, tethers, and loops to keep all of an angler’s tools, radios, lights, etc. ready for action at a moment’s notice.
Featuring added buoyancy over previous bags, the RapidDitch will float up to 15 lbs. of gear, and brilliant reflective material on the bag’s outer surface will assist being spotted by search and rescue crews. Made of a tough, water-resistant fabric, the bags can handle the abuse inherent in such a product’s mission, and self-repairing, corrosion resistant zippers ensure that the user’s gear won’t be trapped inside.
Another unique and potentially lifesaving feature is built-in to the bags’ shoulder straps. Unhooking the straps from the bag turns them into a pair of 4’ safety harnesses to connect survivors together and to their gear, dramatically increasing the chances of a successful rescue.
Keeping all one’s safety gear together in the RapidDitch bag means anglers can also move it from boat to boat rather than maintaining separate equipment on multiple vessels.
Anglers can check out the RapidDitch express at West Marine stores or visit www.acrartex.com to learn more about the bag and all the company’s other products.
