Chris, at East Coast Sports, reports that surf fishing has been producing good-sized mullets. You can also pick up a few spots and pompano. For reds, the better bite is at Lee Island.
The flounder are finally starting to move, with more fish being weighed in. The inlet has been one of the best producers.
Off the beach, there are plenty of small kings and barracudas.

Ed, at Surf City Pier, reports that it’s typical summer pier fishing, with anglers picking up two of this and three of that. They’ve had a few flounder, blues, spots, trout, pompano, and mullet caught this week, but the bite is scattered and isolated.
