REGISTRATION
You can register for the Surf Fishing Series at any time during the season; however, none of your fish in an event can count for points towards the Surf Series unless you have paid your Surf Series entry fee prior to the start of that qualifying event. You will want to register before you fish in your first event.
There are four different ways for you to register: (1) in person, (2) by mail, (3) over the phone using a credit card, or (4) online using VISA, MasterCard, or PayPal.
1. You can pay your entry fee in person at Tex’s Tackle (Wilmington, NC) or Intracoastal Angler (Wilmington, NC) or Island Tackle & Hardware (Carolina Beach, NC). You can also register in person at any of the qualifying events–Pleasure Island Team Surf Fishing Challenge, Topsail Spring Surf & Pier Challenge, Hatteras Island Surf Fishing Challenge, Pleasure Island Fall Surf Fishing Challenge, and Topsail Fall Surf & Pier Challenge.
2. You can mail in your completed entry form with a check or money order to:
Fisherman’s Post, 1320 Audubon Blvd., Wilmington, NC 28403Please make checks or money orders payable to Fisherman’s Post.
3. You can pay your entry fee over the phone at (910) 452-6378 using a credit card, but you will still need to complete an entry form. You may fill out an Online Entry Form, or you can complete the Print Entry Form and then mail it in to Fisherman’s Post, 1320 Audubon Blvd., Wilmington, NC 28403.
4. You can pay your entry fee online by using the links located within the Surf Series Online Entry Form.
Surf Fishing Series entry fees (less a $30 fee) can be refunded prior to Registration of the first Surf Fishing Series event. Once Registration opens for the first Surf Fishing Series event, no refunds of any Surf Fishing Series entry fees can be offered.
