QUICK FACTS

Entry Fee: $125 per boat before May 18; $150 per boat after May 18
Over $15,000 in cash and prizes to be awarded (based on 100 entries)
Winners based on boat’s single heaviest flounder and/or single heaviest red drum
TWTs: Flounder, Red Drum, and Aggregate (one flounder and one red drum)
One Day of Fishing
No Checkouts & No Boundaries
Live Weigh-In encouraged but not required (no penalties)
Fish with as many anglers on your boat as you like (no limitations)
Complimentary Captains’ Party (Friday)
Complimentary Awards Party (Saturday)

Registration: Friday, May 29, from 3:00-8:00 pm at the Ocean Isle Fishing Center
Captains’ Meeting: Friday, May 29, at 6:00 pm at the Ocean Isle Fishing Center
Captains’ Party: Friday, May 29, from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Ocean Isle Fishing Center
Fishing Time: Saturday, May 30, from 6:00 am-4:00 pm (no lines in the water before 6:00 am)
Weigh-In: Saturday, May 30, from 1:00-4:00 pm (must be in line by 4:00 pm) at the Ocean Isle Fishing Center
Awards Party: Saturday, May 30, from 4:00-5:30 pm at the Ocean Isle Fishing Center
Awards Ceremony: Saturday, May 30, at 5:30 pm at the Ocean Isle Fishing Center

* TWT’s are voluntary. They are offered as another way to win money.


SPECIAL PRIZES

Live Weigh-In Bonus: Weigh in your flounder and/or red drum alive and get an extra $20 payout per fish (flounder and/or red drum must be on the leaderboard).

SeaTow Prizes: SeaTow will be awarding two gift certificates (to the Ocean Isle Fishing Center), $50 to the SeaTow member that weighs in the heaviest flounder and $50 to the SeaTow member that weighs in the heaviest red drum.

Guaranteed Junior Angler Cast Net Prizes: Each junior angler that weighs in a flounder or red drum will receive a Betts Nets Old Salt cast net (limit one per boat).

Bazen Custom Rod Raffle Prize: Every boat that weighs in a flounder or red drum will be automatically entered into the Bazen Custom Rod Raffle where we are giving away a Bazen Custom Rod ($225+). The Bazen Custom Rod Raffle will be drawn Saturday at the Awards Ceremony, and you must be present to win.


BENEFICIARIES

The South Brunswick High School Aquaculture Program students learn the importance of science, environmental awareness, responsibility, citizenship, and service to the community. The SBHS Aquaculture Program’s goal is to increase the population of southern flounder in Southeastern NC while educating young students about the importance of the flounder fishery and fisheries management in general.

The Wilmington Elks #532 invest in their communities through programs that help children grow up healthy and drug-free, by undertaking projects that address unmet need, and by honoring the service and sacrifice of our veterans
