QUICK FACTS

Entry Fee: $125 per boat before August 28; $150 per boat after August 28
Over $15,000 in cash and prizes to be awarded (based on 100 entries)
One Division: Flounder (heaviest two-fish aggregate)
Winners based on boat’s heaviest two flounder aggregate
TWTs: Single Big Flounder, Two-Flounder Aggregate, and Single Big Red Drum

One Day of Fishing
Use live, dead, or artificial bait!
No Checkouts & No Boundaries
Live Weigh-In encouraged but not required (no penalties)
Fish with as many anglers on your boat as you like (no limitations)

Complimentary Captains’ Party (Friday–hosted by Sweetwater Brewery)
Complimentary Awards Party (Saturday–hosted Papa John’s Pizza and Sweetwater Brewery)

Captains’ Meeting: Friday, September 8, at 6:00 pm at Southport Marina
Captains’ Party: Friday, September 8, from 4:00-8:00 pm at Southport Marina
Fishing Time: Saturday, September 9, from 6:00 am-4:00 pm (no lines in the water before 6:00 am)
Weigh-In: Saturday, September 9, from 1:00-4:00 pm (must be in line by 4:00 pm) at Southport Marina
Awards Party: Saturday, September 9, from 4:00-5:30 pm at Southport Marina
Awards Ceremony: Saturday, September 9, at 5:30 pm at Southport Marina

SPECIAL PRIZES

Live Weigh-In Bonus: Weigh your flounder in alive and get an extra $10 payout per fish (up to two fish per boat/ flounder and/or red drum must be on leaderboard).

SeaTow Prize: SeaTow will be awarding a $100 gift certificate (to The Tackle Box) to the SeaTow member that weighs in the heaviest single flounder.


BENEFICIARIES

The South Brunswick High School Aquaculture Program students learn the importance of science, environmental awareness, responsibility, citizenship, and service to the community. The SBHS Aquaculture Program’s goal is to increase the population of southern flounder in Southeastern NC while educating young students about the importance of the flounder fishery and fisheries management in general.

The Wilmington Elks invest in their communities through programs that help children grow up healthy and drug-free, by undertaking projects that address unmet need, and by honoring the service and sacrifice of our veterans.
